WORD FOR OCTOBER 2019.
Philippians 2:14 MSG
Do everything readily and cheerfully—no bickering, no second-guessing allowed! Go out into the world uncorrupted, a breath of fresh air in this squalid and polluted society. Provide people with a glimpse of good living and of the living God. Carry the light-giving Message into the night so I'll have good cause to be proud of you on the day that Christ returns. You'll be living proof that I didn't go to all this work for nothing.
There are certain nature, character and way of life the Lord requires us to have and reflect and potray especially at this time of his calendar of life.
Of such distinct mature is that:
*We do everything readily and cheerfully—
*We go out into the world uncorrupted
*We be a breath of fresh air in this squalid and polluted society.
*We Provide people with a glimpse of good living and of the living God.
*We Carry the light-giving Message into the night
If you look at the first and the last instruction, especially the last one, he said carry the light giving message into the night
* BE PURE IN THOUGHTS
* BE PURE IN HEART
* BE PURE IN SPIRIT.
* BE PURE IN WORDS
* BE PURE IN YOUR WAYS
These instructions boils down do living a clean, pure, unpolluted, uncorrupted life because we were going into the night. The night is symbolic to the end of a day, an era, a season, an age and the last lap before the morning and the rising of the sun of the next day.
We are getting into the night the Bible talks about and the Lord is pre-informing us again about it because he also knows the time.
There will be recent happening that will shake and shock the world but be not afraid, live pure for that glorious day of his coming.
