WORD FOR OCTOBER 2019. Philippians 2:14  MSG Do everything readily and cheerfully—no bickering, no second-guessing allowed! Go out into the world uncorrupted, a breath of fresh air in this squalid and polluted society. Provide people with a glimpse of good living and of the living God. Carry the light-giving Message into the night so I'll have good cause to be proud of you on the day that Christ returns. You'll be living proof that I didn't go to all this work for nothing. There are certain nature, character and way of life the Lord requires us to have and reflect and potray especially at this time of his calendar of life. Of such distinct mature is  that: *We do everything readily and cheerfully— *We go out into the world uncorrupted *We be a  breath of fresh air in this squalid and polluted society. *We Provide people with a glimpse of good living and of the living God. *We Carry the light-giving Message into the night If you look at the first and the las...
THE MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION. TOPIC: RELATE IN LOVE PREACHER: BROTHER HENRY SHOBO _Be tolerant with one another and forgive one another whenever any of you has a complaint against someone else. You must forgive one another just as the Lord has forgiven you (Colossians 3:13 GNB)._ In today’s world, winds of intolerance are blowing strongly. It’s common to find those who can’t control their temper. Little things infuriate them and make them exhibit such anger that’s unbecoming of Christians. They’d make such comments as, “I can’t stand that brother or sister.” You could even hear their persistent complaints and whining about the Church premises: “I can’t stand this place; it’s just somehow; I don’t think I’ll keep coming to this Church.” They have people, places, and things they can’t tolerate. Don’t be that way! But think about it: The Bible says, “By his (God’s) spirit he hath garnished the heavens…” (Job 26:13). The Holy Spirit created the whole world and beautified the He...
THE MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION. Topic: Don't You know ? Many Christian's live an ordinary life, they  live like ordinary men, they live as beggerly, in fear and limitations. They live just anyhow, allowing the world to define then and tell them who they are. Many don't even get to know who they are or find it very difficult to believe who the word of God says they are Let me share with you something from the Bible; Psalms 82:6 [6] I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. John 10:34 34)  Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? There are things when we read it from the bible, we can just hold back. Imagine such authoritative words spoken ...he said ... I have told you ur are gods and the children of the most high. As if that is not enough; Jesus himself confirmed that words in PS 82:6 and letting them know. He said ..is I not written in your law, I said yes are gods? The response of Jesus co...
THE MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION. Topic: In The Prison Of Life, Would You Still Be Effective Philemon 1:10-12 10  "... I appeal to you for my son Onesimus, who became my son while I was in chains. 11  he was useless to you, but now he has become useful both to you and to me. 12  I am sending him —who is my very heart —back to you. A very short but touching chapter. The Lord moved my eyes to be aware of certain things which normally the physical eyes would skip. If you read verse nine, it tells us that Paul was an man and was in prison as at the time of this event. In the next three verses afterwards he made mention of a person called Onesimus; who he won over while in prison and he (Paul) became his spiritual father. A remarkable statement was made about his man Onesimus, who he was and what he was. Teach Bible stressed it that Onesimus was unprofitable unto his own people, he was useless, unfruitful, a good for nothing fellow but Paul transformed his life while ...
